1. Information we collect

• Customers: name, mobile number, email address, address, city, pincode, device details (such as model, storage, condition and IMEI numbers) and photos of the device submitted when selling a device through the website or at a partnered store. When a sale is completed, a government photo ID and a photo of the customer are recorded, and the device's IMEI is checked, by the store or the buyer in the TEKRIO app.
• Retailers: store name, owner name, mobile number, city, and GSTIN (optional) submitted during registration.
• Buyers: business name, mobile number, city, and GST/PAN submitted during registration.
• Automatically: basic usage data (pages visited, device/browser type) via Google Analytics, to help us improve the site.

2. How we use your information

• To process device sell requests, list devices for verified buyers, email customers their offer, and connect them with the winning buyer or a nearby TEKRIO partnered store.
• To verify and onboard retailers and buyers onto the TEKRIO marketplace.
• To respond to enquiries submitted through our contact and partnership forms.
• To improve the website and communicate service updates.

3. How we share your information

We share customer device details and photos with the partnered store and the verified buyers making offers on that device only. When a customer accepts an offer on a device listed online, we share their name, mobile number and address with the winning buyer so the buyer can collect the device, and the buyer's name and phone number with the customer. We do not sell personal information to third parties. We may share information where required by law.

4. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including SSL encryption in transit, to protect the information you submit. Customers are responsible for backing up and resetting their device before handing it over.

5. Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@tekrio.in.

6. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use www.tekrio.in. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Terms & Conditions

1. About TEKRIO

TEKRIO (www.tekrio.in) is a platform that connects customers, partnered retailers and verified buyers to facilitate the sale or exchange of pre-owned devices.

TEKRIO acts as a marketplace and verification layer and facilitates the exchange of relevant device information, offers and transaction-related communication.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, TEKRIO is not the buyer or seller of the device and is not a party to the underlying transaction between the customer, retailer and buyer whose offer is accepted.

2. Eligibility

Retailers and buyers registering on TEKRIO must provide accurate business information, including GST or PAN details where applicable, and are subject to TEKRIO's verification process before receiving full platform access.

Customers must also provide accurate information about themselves and their device when using TEKRIO services.

3. Pricing & Offers

Device offers shown on TEKRIO are provided directly by independent, verified buyers and/or partnered retailers and may vary based on factors including device condition, specifications, market demand, inspection and buyer assessment at the time of the transaction.

TEKRIO does not guarantee any specific price or offer.

4. Retailer & Buyer Conduct

Retailers and buyers agree to represent device condition, grading and ownership accurately and to conduct transactions in good faith.

Users must not provide false information, engage in fraudulent activity, manipulate offers or misuse customer information.

TEKRIO reserves the right to suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. Limitation of Liability

TEKRIO is not liable for disputes arising directly between customers, retailers and buyers in relation to their underlying transaction, subject to applicable law.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on the TEKRIO website with the applicable effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, subject to applicable law.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, matters arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
